System Requirements

We strongly recommend you to review the system requirements before installing Advanced Web Stats.

Java

Advanced Web Stats requires a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) 1.5 or later to be installed on your machine.

Client Requirements

To administrate Advanced Web Stats and view reports only a web browser is required.

Advanced Web Stats is tested on all major browsers and supports all of them. Below you can find a list with the most frequent browsers used:

  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer

  • Chrome

  • Safari

  • Opera

The browser used by the client to view reports is required to be JavaScript enabled.

The minimum recommended width of the resolution to be used for Advanced Web Stats is 1280 pixels. Advanced Web Stats works perfectly fine on any resolution, however the best viewing experience is received using the minimum resolution of 1280x1024 pixels.

To get the best performance when using Advanced Web Stats your system should follow these recommended specifications:

Small website usage

  • 2GHz+ CPU Pentium 4 or equivalent

  • 1GB+ RAM

  • SATA hard disk

  • 100Mbs Ethernet interface

Small Business usage

  • 2GHz+ Dual Core CPU Pentium 4 or equivalent

  • 2GB+ of RAM

  • SATA II hard disk

  • 100Mbs Ethernet interface

  • Backup software

Enterprise usage

  • Dual 2.4GHz+ CPU Pentium Xeon or equivalent

  • 4GB+ of RAM

  • Ultra2/Wide SCSI hard disk

  • 100Mbs Ethernet interface

  • Backup software

Server Database

The Advanced Web Stats installation includes a pre-configured Hypersonic database for evaluation purposes only. For production use, it is recommended to be configured for Advanced Web Stats to use an external database. Below you can find a list with the available databases, but please note that they should run on a compatible Operating System.

  • MySQL

  • PostgreSQL
