Segmenting Visitors |
You can choose from a list with predefined segments available on all reports, or create your segments using a large selection of parameters to chose from, like Source, Medium, Campaign, Region, Search keyword, Referrer and much more. While creating a new segment you have two options available that will help you to analyze and compare different sets of data. The first option is to view segmentation for the same type of parameter. For example if you choose Search Traffic you will have displayed on the report information about organic, referral and direct traffic, compared with the totals. The second option will let you to create the segment that will help you to compare the different types of parameters with the totals. For example you can create a Segment to view the visitors from California, United States, received organic and the report will display information about this segment compared with the totals. Using Segments you will be able to better understand your visitors, to have a clear idea about their geographic location or how they arrive on your website. |

Applying a segment Advanced Web Stats will display
on the graph and table additional information that can be compared with
the information already displayed. Comprehensive Segments can help you to

time.
