Multiple Database Support

Advanced Web Stats gives you the possibility to choose the database engine that you want to use. The three options available are Hypersonic2, the Advanced Web Stats internal database engine, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.

Depending on what database engine your server has installed you can easily select and configure it for Advanced Web Stats to use it.

If you are evaluating Advanced Web Stats, the Hypersonic2 embedded database will get you up and running as quickly as possible, because the application has also a demo profile. This is the reason why we recommended using Hypersonic2 for evaluations purposes.

When you finish evaluating Advanced Web Stats and start to use it for production, we strongly recommend using an external database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
